No one is sure what was supposed to happen as far as book selection, so those of us at the rainydayelves meeting tonight have decided to dictate a female author and a new and interesting format. Bloodchild is a short story collection, and we're all going to read the entire book and talk about the stories that especially grabbed us. If that turns out to be too much material, well, we'll find that out. I think it'll be interesting.
Does meeting in about two weeks sound feasible for everyone? The library has at least a few copies of the book, so people shouldn't have trouble getting hold of it.
